UI/UX & Wireframing
Design Walden's mobile experience and onboarding flow.
My largest project at Walden was a complete overhaul of our brand identity. I worked to bring a bright and uplifting yet professional and productive feel to the company. This involved moodboarding, new color and typographic systems, and changing our messaging and copy. I completely redesigned our style guide for our website and UI, including card elements, buttons, and navigation.
Based off our existing desktop dashboard, I created a version for mobile devices. This web view allows you to chat with your coach, check off tasks, edit documents, and change your settings. This mostly entailed re-designing the architecture of the layout, including navigation, menus, and buttons.
With a growing user base, the goal of the new onboarding flow was to algorithmically match these users to coaches that fit their projects. I worked on the content and visual design of the onboarding flow, including what kinds of questions we should ask our users. I also created several versions of the onboarding flow depending on the type of user (new, existing).
I also worked on smaller changes of Walden's desktop dashboard. This includes the sidebar navigation for coaches and users, re-coloring the UI to fit our new brand identity, editing the user experience of scheduling a call, and fleshing out the settings functions.
